第5回バイオメカニクス国際シンポジウム(B-J-K Symposium on Biomechanics)が2月20日〜22日の3日間にわたって金沢市の中心部にある石川県立生涯学習センターで開催されました.例年は3月に開催されるのですが,今年はオトナの事情で開催が早まったのかもしれません.
このシンポジウムは,生体計算力学を対象とした北京工業大学と北陸先端大,金沢大学それぞれの分野協調的研究の成果を発表するものです.
小生らゆかいな仲間たちは,Session 3から参加しました.流体工学研究室からM1の藤岡君が「Observation of turbulent diffusion in a deciduous forest canopy in winter」という題目で講演しました.
