第５回
バイオメカニクス国際シンポジウム

　第５回バイオメカニクス国際シンポジウム（B-J-K Symposium on Biomechanics）が２月２０日〜２２日の３日間にわたって金沢市の中心部にある石川県立生涯学習センターで開催されました．例年は３月に開催されるのですが，今年はオトナの事情で開催が早まったのかもしれません．

　このシンポジウムは，生体計算力学を対象とした北京工業大学と北陸先端大，金沢大学それぞれの分野協調的研究の成果を発表するものです．

　小生らゆかいな仲間たちは，Session 3から参加しました．流体工学研究室からＭ１の藤岡君が「Observation of turbulent diffusion in a deciduous forest canopy in winter」という題目で講演しました．
