北陸数論セミナー

このセミナーは、北陸地方の数論研究者を中心に月２回程度の割合で開催されています。場所は交通の便を考え、主に金沢大学サテライトプラザで行っています。発表内容は、オリジナルな結果・論文の紹介・問題提起等数論に関係あることなら何でもありの気楽なセミナーを目指しています。講演を御希望の方は

　　　The construction of maximal subgroups of J_4 by GAP

概要　散在型有限単純群 $J_4$の極大部分群の構成を具体例にして、GAPによる有限群の構成方法を紹介します。有限体上の行列やベクトルの定義、行列群の構成、ベクトル空間への作用による半直積、準同形写像を使った置換群への変換などを説明します。

　　ある中心拡大の Artin L 関数について

概要　　古田先生と久保田先生の1993年の論文に登場する有理数体上の中心拡大に対して，Artin L 関数を計算し，分解法則を求める．（南村典彦との共同研究）．

　 Modular forms constructed from　O(E_8,{\mathbf Z})-invariant
E_8-harmonic polynomials

概要　Let $Q\in M(m, {\mathbf Z})$ is a positive definite symmetric matrix.
Starting from a $Q$-harmonic homogeneous polynomial $P$, we can construct an elliptic modular form $\theta_{Q}(z,P)$ of weight $k=deg(P)+m/2$. It is readily seen that we do not lose any modular forms if we assume that the polynomial $P$ is invariant under the finite group $O(Q,{\mathbf Z})$.
In this talk, we consider the case of $Q=E_8$ and report that the linear map $P\mapsto \theta_{Q}(z,P)$ is injective for $k\le 24$.
This talk is based on Y.Funada's master thesis (2016, March) supervised by the speaker.
